Safety Precautions

Dear Esteemed Patient,

On behalf of Dr. Ereso and the entire team, we sincerely hope you, your friends, and family members are healthy during these stressful times.  We understand that the past few months have been difficult and unpredictable.  Many of you have had surgeries, consultations, and follow-ups cancelled or rescheduled with us, as we managed through Santa Clara County’s shelter-in-place recommendations.  During our closure, we have been diligently working behind the scenes to develop and implement new protocols and measures to ensure the safety of our staff and patients.   This remains our utmost priority.  We are excited to announce the following changes to your patient experience at our office and look forward to seeing you again soon!

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

  1. Before your appointment, you should have received an email link with access to your OnPatient portal, which allows you to complete a series of questions pertaining to your demographics and medical history. It is extremely important that you take the time to complete this in advance as it allows the doctors time to go over your medical file.
  2. If you are an existing patient, please take the time to log on to your patient portal to check that all the information we have is accurate and up to date.
  3. If you experience any technical difficulties, please email or call us, and a member of our team can assist you.
  4. We will contact you 24-48 hours before your appointment to confirm the time, ask you a few pre-visit screening questions, and answer any questions you may have.

DAY OF APPOINTMENT

  1. When you arrive for your appointment, please park your car and call the office at (650) 964-6600. A member of our team will meet you at your car to take your temperature as part of our screening.  You will then be escorted into our clinic where you will then have your consultation or follow-up with the doctors in the examination room.  We have implemented protocols to ensure our examination rooms are thoroughly cleansed and disinfected after each use, and that appointments are appropriately spaced apart to allow this.  It is therefore important that you try to arrive on time.
  2. At this time, we ask that you do not bring any visitors except possibly a parent or caregiver as we have eliminated the waiting area to comply with social distancing guidelines. We also ask that you wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including bringing and wearing gloves and a mask.

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

  1. After your visit with us at the office, a member of our team will follow up with you, to ensure you that you had a positive outcome, answer any other questions that you may have, as well as to ask you a few post-visit screening questions.

Please be assured that our team will be following all the same safety guidelines by wearing masks and gloves and keeping all areas clean and sanitized.  Again, the safety of all our staff and patients is our utmost priority and we appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation.

If at any time before your visit you feel unwell or need to cancel, please call the office and we will be more than happy to reschedule your appointment.

We look forward to seeing you again!
