Restylane for San Jose

Serving Mountain View & the Bay Area

Dermal fillers such as Restylane are a minimally invasive way to restore a more youthful appearance to aging skin. With a few injections, Dr. Ereso or Nurse Iwona can fill in creases and wrinkles and plump up flat or dull features.

Restylane Candidacy/Areas Restylane Can Treat

You may be a suitable candidate for Restylane treatment if you are at least 21 years old and bothered by mild to moderate signs of aging around your eyes, nose, mouth or jawline. Restylane is commonly used to minimize the appearance of the following:

  • Crow’s feet
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Marionette lines
  • Smile lines
  • Flat or shapeless cheeks or lips
  • Wrinkles around the chin or jawline

Restylane Benefits

Restylane is made from hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the body. Hyaluronic acid provides instant fullness and moisture in the treated area, as it has the capability to hold more than 1,000 times its weight in water. After your Restylane treatment, you can look forward to softer, smoother skin.

Why Choose Us?

For the best results, you need a Restylane injector who understands exactly how Restylane products behave, and where they are best utilized in the face. Dr. Ereso and our team of experienced providers will evaluate your unique facial anatomy, noting the location and severity of your “problem areas,” and craft a treatment plan customized to your needs.

Preparation for Facial Fillers

Special preparations are usually not needed prior to Restylane treatment. Make your injector aware of any medications or allergies you have prior to the injections. You may be asked to discontinue blood-thinning medications such as ibuprofen or aspirin in the days immediately preceding your injections.

Restylane Treatment Details

Restylane Fillers for the FaceRestylane injections are administered quickly and precisely according to your unique treatment plan. Ice or topical numbing cream can be used if you are worried about discomfort during the injections. The number of injections and amount of filler used depends on the size of the treatment area and severity of the wrinkles or volume loss.

Types of Restylane

The Restylane family of filler products includes the following:

  • Restylane Refyne and Defyne for nasolabial folds and marionette lines
  • Restylane Lyft for cheek augmentation and other contour irregularities in the midface
  • Restylane Silk for lip augmentation and wrinkles around the corners of the mouth
  • Restylane Kysse for lip augmentation and lines above the mouth

Our injectors are very familiar with the nuances of the different Restylane products and will recommend the best choice or choices for your case.

Restylane Recovery/Results

Significant downtime is not necessary after Restylane treatment. You will be able to return to work, socializing and most of your normal activities immediately after your appointment.

Results vary by patient, but expect to see your full treatment outcomes several days after your injections.

Complementary Treatments

Restylane can be combined with other injectables (e.g., BOTOX®), non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments or facial plastic surgery procedures.

Serious side effects are very unusual. You may have mild swelling, redness or bruising after your injections for a few days.

Restylane Costs/Financing

The cost of your Restylane treatment is based on the specific product type and volume used. For pricing information, please request a consultation with our team.
