Special preparations are usually not necessary prior to Juvéderm treatment. In the days immediately before your appointment, refrain from taking any blood-thinning medications, exposing unprotected skin to the sun or using harsh exfoliating or new-to-you skincare products.

Juvéderm Treatment Details

Before starting the injections, the provider will cleanse the target areas of your face. Ice or a topical numbing cream can be applied to make the injections more comfortable.

Using a thin needle or cannula, the provider will inject the Juvéderm just underneath the skin. Almost immediately, the skin should appear plumper and smoother. The provider will work slowly and deliberately to avoid over-filling the target treatment area.

Downtime/Results
