Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, is a cosmetic procedure performed on a person’s lower and/or upper eyelids. The procedure is usually done to correct bags under the eyes, droopy eyelids, or both.
During eyelid surgery, tiny incisions are made along either the crease of the upper eyelid or the lash line of the lower eyelid to remove excess skin and fat deposits and create a more youthful, refreshed appearance.
