Dr. Samuel Pearl is one of the premier Board Certified plastic surgeons in the San Francisco Bay Area. Basing his private practice near Los Altos and Palo Alto, he is a specialized cosmetic plastic surgeon who has been practicing for over twenty years. Dr. Samuel Pearl’s well-deserved reputation in the communities of Mountain View, Sunnyvale and Los Altos as an exceptional cosmetic surgeon stems from his unique combination of an artistic touch with surgical skill. For the past two decades, Dr. Samuel Pearl has served the entire Bay Area as a dedicated plastic surgery provider, turning his patients dream bodies into the reality they see in the mirror every morning.

Dr. Samuel Pearl lives in the El Camino Community with his wife, daughter and twin sons. He is an avid scuba diver, wind surfer, and recumbent cyclist. His passion for artistic expression has been inspired by a leading painter of the postimpressionist period, Paul Gauguin. Walk into the Pearl Plastic Surgery Center, and you’ll enjoy works with a flavor of French Polynesia! For relaxation, Dr. Samuel Pearl enjoys musical expression by playing the flute and jazz guitar.

Dr. Samuel Pearl underwent extensive training during which he perfected his skill and honed his technique. Dr. Samuel Pearl’s interest in the art of plastic surgery began during his surgical internship at Stanford University. He completed his plastic surgery training at the University of Wisconsin after receiving additional general surgery training at Stanford University. He served as Chief of Emergency Services in American Samoa, and he has worked in Africa, the South Pacific, and Central and South America. He served as a volunteer plastic surgeon for Interplast, a non-profit organization devoted to providing quality plastic surgical care to the underprivileged peoples of the world.

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency: University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin, 1980-1982

Chief Resident Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery: University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin 1981-1982

International Voluntary Plastic Surgical Experience: 1980-1990, including Central and South America, Africa and the South Pacific.

Board Certification

Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1983, Dr. Samuel Pearl has completed the rigorous training and testing demanded by this organization.

Dr. Pearl was the Chairman of the Division of Plastic Surgery at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View from 1988 to 1992. He is currently on staff at El Camino Hospital and courtesy staff at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City and Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose. Dr. Pearl was also an active member of the Interplast Organization, performing voluntary plastic surgery in American Samoa, Africa, Ecuador, Brazil and Mexico from 1980-1990.
